Londresss

I had a good five-day stay in London. Just got back yesterday. Went on Friday for the rehearsals for Brunei Cultural Nite which was the next day. I never been to any of the choir practices due to the amount of assignments given. I felt really bad about it. There were lots of new faces tho. We left Brunei Hall early for the event. It has 2 sessions, the afternoon one and the one at night. We were at the venue from 8.30am. Practicing and rehearsing till everything is right. It was a good experience, with all the backstage mayhem and handling guests. The venue was at Leceister Square Theater. The place was quite tricky to find. I saw couple of Bruneians lost in Leceister Square searching for the place. Theres this one time a group of Bruneians looking at me, indecisive whether im just a random chinese guy or bruneian so i just break the ice and said 'yeah the BCN is inside' lol.

Stayed over at Nizam's

At BCN-
Ticket counters- amal and shidah.

Guy's dressing room. Getting ready for the next show.

Choir with Sultan Bolkiah.

Emcees- VV and Tony
PA and lighting team at work.

Bruleedians. One of em won the Grand Prize to Paris which cost 2500 pounds. SIukk~~~

Tribal dancers. (luruskh?)

Sorry i didn't took any on stage performances due to bad lighting. My pictures look like it was printed on paper then soaked in water. Congratulations to the production team of BCN for making it a very wonderful event. The storyline of tiupan seruling was good. The dances were incredible. There was commitment everywhere though we were really tired, being in two sessions and stayed there frm morning up till 9pm. Staggering 12 hrs but it was fun. Also to the person who made the Kuih Batik Pandan warn hijau atu, ur the best~!! If you are reading this, i would be happy to cook you anything in exchange of your kuih pandan! Nyamannnn!!! Ur on my list of who makes the best kuih batik pandan evaaaaa :P

Back to the storyline, it made people wanna know more of the story. The jokes and funny moments inserted were not lame at all, made people laugh, my fav was the slap. Damn it made some jaws drop. Too bad can't enjoy another one of these. Udh final year baruth ektip apa inda. Well later that night, once i got to BH i was really tired. Had my shower, ate dinner and went straight to sleep. The next day i was sending a friend back to Brunei so needed an early wake up call. I was asleep most of the time during the journey back to BH. Good thing i didn't miss the stop. Later that night i stayed over at Yasmin's. Asked her to cook dinner. She made homemade tuna delight pizza and Choc Brownie ice cream along with my help.

What a way to get the PM's attention.

Yas's ayam.
Cara2 buat pizza. Firstly prepare the dough.

Roll it out. If you want a thin and licak pizza (like fratinis), then dont roll too much, left some air in the dough.
Prepare the inti. We had tuna delight.

Spread..Sprinkle...

Heat in the oven for 15 mins and serve~

Ani for eskrem. Prepare the mixture.

Put it inside the ice-cream maker and let it do it's magic.

Choc brownie- before and..
After.

The ice cream maker needed to be frozen at least 12hrs but yas onl remember to put it inside the fridge that afternoon. Ice cream kmi nda menjadi :( so we decided to put the mixture into a container and froze it overnight. The results...The texture was in between a normal ice-cream and an ice-cream that melted and refroze.

The next ay we went to Westfield, biggest mall in London. I prefer westfield to bluewater tho for the fact that the interior design and shops are way better. Everything is under one roof, from High Street designer stores to home furniture, tho i don't need that. Tiring nevertheless walking and exploring the whole mall.

My hosts Yas and Yeen.

Yas and Yeen decided to watch a movie but i promised to meet a friend that night, fatin. Dibah was there too so we went to Kiasu for dinner. C fatin forgot to change her time to one hour early so there i was in BH waiting for her for one whole hour, ishishish :P But thanks for dinner hehehe. Kiasu was ok. I still prefer CNR. Dont order the chendol tho, for a price tag like that its definitely not worth it. Ndagi nyaman tu. Nyamn gi yg the people who sells chendol in a white van near pasar.

Deebs and Fatin

Limited edition blue maltesers.

Fatin jeles cameranya mcm gue.

On Tuesday i went to the bank with Nizam and while waiting for him to cash in his money, i asked one of the staff whether i could change my solo debit card to maestro. He ask me to use phone banking and ask the customer care centre. So gave them a ring, gave my details and to my luck, the guy on the other side of the phone said i fulfil all the requirements (he didn't tell me what was it) and my card will be change to a Visa Debit Card! Happy :) Went home later that afternoon. Will be missing London but then again, abis bh duit d london ani huhuhu. Virgin trains are the best. Got back, went to Tesco and found this. Nyaman~
