The big day

Im going back to the uk less than 2 weeks yet im still not ready for it. My brain right now couldn't switch to student mode. Its still on vacation mode. Huh~ Another year of unpredicted weathers, mounting assignments and microwave foods. But this year im really happy with my summer in Brunei because i gt to spend the whole month of Ramadhan and a few days of raya here in Brunei.

I asked my mum how is it like having raya over here. Its been 3years I haven't have my raya over in Brunei. Really looking forward to it. Words can't explain how excited i am over the glorious day. My parents were really happy last night when their stuff finally arrived. So new carpets, tapestry and a bit of furniture. I think towards the end of the fasting period you kinda feel the aura of the Raya month. I miss that feeling. I know in UK we do those stuff also. U know like booking dates when to have 'Open house' and having the takbir. But nothing compares being back home and have it with your family. And one more thing that why i enjoy Ramadhan Nights in Brunei..MAIN BADIL. Damnnn its been a while~~ Now my youngest brother knows more abt it than i do. Jgnth bali air bom nda lagi basar bunyi nya tu, bali blablabla (forgot the name). One time a mishap happened. My adek want to play the missile badil. Its like a box of missile and in it theres like 30 missiles. Once u lit it up, one missile after another flew creating a very high pitch sound. The problem was my adek ani luan genius, he mounted the badil on a very unstable platform. He lit the badil up, the missile flew randomly and suddenly the box topple over and the missiles were pointed at us. Its like final destination 3 only the badil weren't as big:P

So badil covered, baju covered, preparing the house for raya covered....yes, the last one...Wonderful, Marvelous and Delicious FOOD! Mum is not making any cake rolls like she used to. Her reason...its difficult to have free time when your a student. I can't agree more:P But again, really looking forward to authentic homemade Raya food hehehe all the rendangs and lemangs~ Then you have cakes, biscuits, kropok and more cakes (sounds more like a fat-gaining plan). Owh last but not least ampau meh~~~

Can't wait~~~
